Product Overview
Engineered to address high operational extraction demands, the Pedrollo MC40/70-F MC Submersible Channel Pump, Guide Rail scales up drainage efficiency. This three-phase powerhouse utilizes a 3.0 kW motor pulling 7.8 Amps over a 415v supply. By delivering strong torque, the system processes abrasive unrefined sewage without mechanical stalling.
Built for integration into subterranean networks, this mechanism is suitable for guide rail installations using an automatic coupling arrangement that allows service access without entering the wet well. The fluid architecture pushes sludge-mixed wastewater outward through an 80 mm discharge port, maintaining a clear hydraulic pathway during usage.
Managing internal pressure is a DOUBLE-CHANNEL impeller constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel. Protected by a double mechanical seal setup isolated by an oil chamber, the shaft operates free from moisture intrusion. These components accelerate aggressive liquids to produce a maximum flow of 1600 L/min and a vertical lift pressure of 15 m.
To ensure this mechanism survives caustic environments, the primary enclosure is cast from heavy-gauge iron and reinforced with a cataphoresis coating. This architectural design creates a barrier against chemical degradation. Weighing 46.3 kg, the structural casting anchors the unit securely, accommodating liquids up to 40 degrees Celsius.

What materials protect the pump against corrosion in wastewater environments?
A cast iron body with cataphoresis coating resists corrosion, while the AISI 304 stainless steel double-channel impeller equips the MC40/70-F for wastewater duties.
What is the maximum flow rate described for this pump?
The pump delivers up to 1600 L/min, giving the MC40 70-F high extraction capacity for demanding sewage and sludge-mixed wastewater applications.
How is the pump installed for easier servicing in a wet well?
An automatic coupling and guide-rail arrangement allows servicing from above without personnel entering the wet well when installing the MC40/70-F.
What size of suspended solids can pass through the hydraulic system?
The hydraulic design handles suspended solids up to 70 mm, helping the MC40_70-F move raw sewage and wastewater containing larger debris.
What motor and electrical supply are used?
A 3.0 kW three-phase motor draws 7.8 A from a 415 V supply, powering the MC40/70-F for demanding extraction work.
