Product Overview
Clean water duties in domestic distribution and garden or orchard irrigation are well suited to the Pedrollo PKM65, where a close coupled peripheral configuration provides a compact pumping arrangement for straightforward water service. The pump is intended for clean liquids without abrasive particles and liquids that are not chemically aggressive towards its construction materials.
Hydraulic performance reaches a maximum head of 50 m with maximum flow of 50 L/Min. A maximum working pressure of 8 bar defines the pressure limit of the pump, while the specified operating range provides the combination of head and flow expected from this peripheral pump configuration.
At the hydraulic core is a peripheral impeller with radial vanes, producing the pressure characteristics associated with this type of pump. The arrangement is suited to applications where clean water needs to be distributed or moved through domestic systems, gardens and orchards without requiring a high-volume pumping configuration.
Construction centres on a cast iron pump body and brass impeller within a close coupled arrangement. The pump is suitable for liquids up to 40°C, while the compact pump-and-motor configuration keeps the assembly straightforward for installation where the specified operating conditions can be maintained.
FEATURES
- Peripheral impeller hydraulic design with radial vane configuration for pressure generation.
- Close coupled construction integrates the pump assembly with the motor in a compact format.
- Cast iron pump body provides the primary structural housing for the hydraulic components.
- Brass impeller provides the specified corrosion-resistant impeller construction.
- Single mechanical seal arrangement separates the rotating shaft from the pumped liquid.
- Stainless steel motor shaft provides the rotating connection through the pump assembly.
- Aluminium motor bracket incorporates a brass cover and front scraping anti-locking function.
- ISO 228/1 threaded pump ports provide a standard threaded connection arrangement.

What is the maximum head rating of this pump?
The maximum head is 55 metres, allowing the PKM65 to support clean-water delivery where pressure is important; actual head varies with flow.
What water applications is the pump suitable for?
Domestic water distribution and garden or orchard irrigation are suitable applications for the PKM_65, provided the pumped liquid contains no abrasive particles.
What is the maximum working pressure?
The maximum working pressure is 6 bar, which is the pressure limit for the PKM/65 and should be considered when designing the installation.
What liquid temperature range can the pump handle?
The pump accepts liquid from -10 °C to +60 °C, so the PKM 65 must remain within this temperature range during operation.
What materials are used in the pump body and impeller?
A cast iron body and brass impeller with peripheral radial vanes form the main hydraulic construction of the PKM65 for clean-water pumping.
