Puretec PL10MP2 Pleated Sediment MaxiPlus 10 Micron 4.5" x 20" Water Filter Cartridge

For commercial-scale pre-treatment, the large-format Puretec PL10MP2 cartridge features a multi-fold pleat layout for maximum sediment collection. This high-capacity cartridge filters fine sand, silt, and rust from incoming municipal or borehole water. It is suitable for MaxiPlus filter housings and is designed for commercial water mains.

The physical construction utilizes synthetic non-woven polyester fabric folded into multiple wide pleat layers to capture dirt. This pleated polyester wraps around an internal polypropylene core that provides structural stiffness under high pump pressure. The ends are sealed in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC, forming a unitized end cap.

Measuring 4.5 inches in diameter by 20 inches in length, this model operates with a nominal rating of 10 microns. It incorporates more than 16 square feet (1.48 square meters) of active filter media to trap incoming particles. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases the physical capture efficiency.

The cartridge operates at a maximum flow rate of 183 L/Min, retaining excellent hydraulic flow properties. It is rated for fluid temperatures from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Thanks to the washable non-woven fibers, the cartridge incorporates a reusable design, allowing routine washing to extend service runs.
