Puretec Softrol™ SOL40-E3 Automatic Volumetric Water Softening System

The Puretec Softrol™ SOL40-E3 is a high-capacity automatic volumetric water softening system designed to protect homes and facilities from the damaging effects of hard water. Using advanced ion-exchange resin technology, the system removes calcium, magnesium and other hardness minerals that cause scale build-up in plumbing, appliances and hot water systems, improving efficiency and extending equipment life.

Equipped with the intelligent E3-Matic™ volumetric control valve, the system regenerates only when required based on actual water usage rather than time intervals. This optimises salt and water consumption while ensuring a continuous supply of softened water. With a service flow rate of approximately 40 litres per minute and capacity of around 18,000 litres (based on hardness levels), the SOL40-E3 is suitable for medium to large households and light commercial applications.

Constructed for durability and reliability, the unit operates on standard mains power and supports a wide pressure range. Softened water improves soap efficiency, reduces spotting on fixtures and glassware, and helps prevent costly scale damage to plumbing systems and appliances.
