Highly soiled sewage with fibrous waste in commercial and industrial applications requires pumps that combine high flow rates with effective solids management. The Zenit CTG 300/4/80 is a 2.2 kW submersible impeller chopper pump that combines the high flow rates of Open Channel design with the solids handling capacity of Vortex hydraulics, paired with an active chopper cutting assembly. The unit is suitable for lifting highly soiled sewage with fibrous waste in agricultural and industrial settings.
Maximum head reaches 13.6 metres with a maximum flow of 2100 L/Min, driven by a 415V three-phase motor drawing 5.2 Amps. The 2.2 kW motor uses direct starting with 25.3 Amps starting current and produces 14.9 Nm of rated torque. These performance characteristics suit high-volume applications requiring significant flow capability with moderate head requirements.
Hydraulic design incorporates an open channel impeller with cutting system, with the impeller manufactured from Cast Iron EN-GJS 600. The active chopper cutting system processes solids before they enter the impeller, with a free passage of 32 mm for processed material. Hydraulic efficiency is rated at 75.9%, with suction and discharge configurations of DN 100 (undrilled) and DN 80 respectively.
Construction consists of a Cast Iron EN-GJL 250 casing with bi-epoxy 200 ?m sea water resistant coating. The shaft is stainless steel AISI 431, and sealing uses two mechanical seals in silicon carbide (2SiC). Motor protection includes Class H insulation, IP68 rating, thermal protection, and a leakage sensor. Cable length is 10 metres with 4G1,5+3x1 configuration, and the unit weighs 125.4 kg. An accessory (code 9024.114) is required for installation.
