Product Overview
Managing domestic slightly dirty water requires a specialized submersible solution capable of clearing rainwater and seepage from household collection pits. This Zenit model is designed for residential service, providing efficient hydraulic turnover for liquids containing small suspended solids. Its construction supports reliable continuous operation, making it an essential component for residential drainage and water transfer systems.
Capable of reaching a maximum flow of up to 540 L/Min and a maximum head of approximately 12.5 m, this pump offers substantial turnover for domestic sumps. Configured for 240v single-phase power, the 0.9 kW motor provides the hydraulic lift required for common residential transfer distances. This balance of volume and pressure ensures that storage tanks are cleared efficiently while maintaining electrical stability.
The unit incorporates an open channel impeller, engineered to process slightly soiled liquids without clogging. This hydraulic configuration is ideal for domestic duty where liquids may contain particulates that would compromise standard centrifugal designs. The submerged installation assists motor cooling during continuous operation, which enhances the overall longevity and efficiency of the pump.
Mechanical integrity is provided by the cast iron EN-GJL 250 body and a stainless steel motor shaft for superior corrosion resistance. Motor safety is ensured by a mechanical seal in silicon carbide with an auxiliary lip seal to prevent liquid ingress. Rated for liquids up to 40°C, the unit features a 50 mm vertical discharge and is built for professional-grade domestic service.

How does the impeller handle solids in wastewater?
Slightly soiled liquids containing small suspended solids pass through the open-channel impeller in DRE100_2_G50HMSIC_A0 during domestic and site drainage from collection pits.
Which wastewater and runoff applications suit this pump?
Household pits and rainwater drainage suit DRE100 2 G50HMSIC A0, which transfers slightly dirty water during domestic sump evacuation from domestic collection points.
Which safeguards protect the motor during operation?
For submerged service, Class F insulation, IP68 protection and built-in thermal protection are combined in DRE100-2-G50HMSIC-A0 for drainage installations in household and site sumps.
What performance figures describe this pump's drainage capacity?
Maximum flow is 540 L/Min and maximum head is 12.5 m for DRE100/2/G50HMSIC/A0, driven by a 0.9 kW motor for drainage work.
Which seal design is used for submerged service?
Liquid ingress is limited by the two silicon carbide mechanical seals (2SiC) on DRE1002G50HMSICA0 to the motor compartment during submerged pumping in drainage pits.
