Low-head dewatering operations in industrial and municipal settings demand pumps that can maintain performance with minimal energy input. The Zenit DRG 200/4/80HM0ETEX is a 1.5 kW submersible drainage pump suited to these requirements, featuring ATEX Ex d certification for safe operation in hazardous areas. The unit handles storm water, wastewater treatment plant effluent, and liquids containing suspended solids or filaments, and is designed for installation with a dedicated ring stand.

Maximum head for this pump is 8.2 metres with a corresponding flow of 1548 L/Min, powered by a 415V three-phase motor drawing 3.4 Amps. The 1.5 kW motor utilises direct starting with a starting current of 16.1 Amps and produces 10.1 Nm of rated torque. Performance characteristics are suitable for high-volume, low-pressure transfer applications typical of drainage and dewatering operations.

Hydraulic design incorporates a multi-channel open impeller with a free passage of 45 mm, allowing the pump to process solids and fibres commonly found in wastewater streams. The open channel impeller configuration is engineered for efficiency in low-head applications, with the hydraulic system constructed from Cast Iron EN-GJL 250. Performance curve tolerance conforms to UNI EN ISO 9906:2012 standards for reliable system planning.

Construction features a Cast Iron EN-GJL 250 casing with bi-epoxy 200 ?m sea water resistant coating. The shaft is stainless steel AISI 431, and sealing is provided by two mechanical seals in silicon carbide (2SiC). The motor has Class H insulation and IP68 ingress protection, with thermal protection and a leakage sensor included. Cable length is 10 metres with 4G1,5+3x1 configuration, and the pump weighs 55.2 kg. A ZENS9024.007 Ring Stand is required for free-standing operation.

    FEATURES
