Stormwater drainage and industrial wastewater management systems frequently encounter variable flow conditions that require pumps with consistent hydraulic performance. The Zenit DRG 400/2/80HE0ETEX is a 3.0 kW submersible drainage pump with ATEX Ex d certification, suitable for wastewater treatment plants, sewage systems, and low to medium density activated sludge applications. The unit incorporates a redesigned high-efficiency motor and is compatible with ring stand free-standing installation.
Maximum head reaches 21.2 metres with a maximum flow of 1716 L/Min, powered by a 415V three-phase motor drawing 6.4 Amps. The 3.0 kW motor uses direct starting with 38.7 Amps starting current and produces 10.0 Nm of rated torque. These performance characteristics suit applications requiring moderate to high head in industrial and municipal drainage systems.
Solids handling is managed through an open channel impeller with free passage of 40 x 35 mm, using a multi-channel open impeller design. This configuration minimises clogging while maintaining hydraulic efficiency, with the hydraulic system constructed from Cast Iron EN-GJL 250. The impeller is of the same material, and performance curve tolerance follows UNI EN ISO 9906:2012 standards.
Construction consists of a Cast Iron EN-GJL 250 casing with bi-epoxy 200 ?m sea water resistant coating. The shaft is stainless steel AISI 431, and sealing is provided by two mechanical seals in silicon carbide (2SiC). Motor protection includes Class H insulation, IP68 rating, thermal protection, and a leakage sensor. Cable length is 10 metres with 4G1,5+3x1 configuration, and the unit weighs 48 kg. A ZENS9024.010 Ring Stand is required for free-standing operation.
