Heavy industrial environments with high solids content and fibrous material require pumps that maintain performance without clogging or degradation. The Zenit DRG 400/4/80HH0ETEX is a 3.0 kW submersible drainage pump with ATEX Ex d certification, engineered for sewage systems, livestock farm effluent, and storm water management applications. The unit handles low to medium density activated sludges and is compatible with ring stand free-standing installation.
Maximum head for this pump is 13.9 metres with a corresponding maximum flow of 2088 L/Min, driven by a 415V three-phase motor drawing 6.7 Amps. The 3.0 kW motor uses direct starting with 38.2 Amps starting current and produces 20.7 Nm of rated torque. These specifications provide high-volume transfer capability with moderate head requirements.
The multi-channel open impeller configuration provides a free passage of 75 mm, enabling the pump to process large solids and fibrous materials commonly found in sewage and livestock waste. Hydraulic efficiency is rated at 63.7%, with the hydraulic system manufactured from Cast Iron EN-GJL 250. Performance curves comply with UNI EN ISO 9906:2012 standards for accurate system design.
Cast Iron EN-GJL 250 casing construction includes bi-epoxy 200 ?m sea water resistant coating. The shaft is stainless steel AISI 431, and sealing uses two mechanical seals in silicon carbide (2SiC). Motor protection consists of Class H insulation, IP68 ingress rating, thermal protection, and a leakage sensor. Cable length is 10 metres with 4G1,5+3x1 configuration, and the unit weighs 77 kg. A ZENS9024.007 Ring Stand is required for free-standing operation.
