Unstrained civil wastewaters containing fibres and filaments present significant clogging challenges that require specialised pumping solutions. The Zenit GR BluePRO 100/2/G40H A1CM5 is a 0.74 kW submersible grinder pump with IECEx certification for Zone 2 hazardous areas, featuring a high-efficiency grinding system with a rotary knife that slices and smashes solid and fibrous waste. The unit is suitable for residential and light commercial professional settings, with an IECEx float switch included for automatic operation.

Maximum head for this model is 17 metres with a maximum flow of 240 L/Min, driven by a 240V single-phase motor drawing 5.50 Amps. The 0.74 kW motor operates at 2900 rpm with Class F insulation and IP68 ingress protection. These performance characteristics suit low-to-medium flow wastewater applications where grinding capability is essential.

The hydraulic system incorporates an open channel impeller with grinder system, with the impeller manufactured from cast iron. The grinder mechanism consists of a chromium steel cutter and cutting disk (X102 CrMo17 KU) that process all incoming solids, reducing them to pumpable size. The free passage is 0 mm as all solids are processed by the grinding system rather than passed through.

Construction features a Cast Iron EN-GJL 250 casing and hydraulic components with bi-epoxy 120 ?m coating. The shaft is stainless steel AISI 431, and sealing uses two mechanical seals in silicon carbide (2SiC). Motor protection includes thermal protection, a starting capacitor, and a running capacitor. Cable length is 10 metres with Shuko plug, and the unit weighs 19 kg.
