Commercial and professional wastewater applications with high concentrations of tough fibrous solids require pumps with high starting torque and powerful grinding capability. The Zenit GR BluePRO 200/2/G40H A1CM5 is a 1.50 kW submersible grinder pump with IECEx certification for Zone 2 hazardous areas, featuring a heavy-duty grinding system designed to handle tough fibrous solids without locking up. The high starting torque motor and IECEx float switch make it suitable for heavy residential, commercial, and professional applications.
Maximum head reaches 27 metres with a maximum flow of 300 L/Min, driven by a 240V single-phase motor drawing 10.00 Amps. The 1.50 kW motor operates at 2900 rpm with Class F insulation and IP68 ingress protection. These performance characteristics suit medium-flow applications requiring high head and high starting torque capability.
Hydraulic design incorporates an open channel impeller with grinder system, with the impeller manufactured from cast iron. The grinder mechanism uses a chromium steel cutter and cutting disk (X102 CrMo17 KU) that process all incoming solids. Free passage is 0 mm as all solids are processed by the grinding system rather than passed through.
Construction features a Cast Iron EN-GJL 250 casing and hydraulic components with bi-epoxy 120 ?m coating. The shaft is stainless steel AISI 431, and sealing uses two mechanical seals in silicon carbide (2SiC). Motor protection includes thermal protection and a starting capacitor. Cable length is 10 metres with Shuko plug, and the unit weighs 25 kg.
