The Zenit GRG 400/2/G50H DOET5 is a 3.0 kW submersible grinder pump with ATEX Zone 1 certification, featuring a heavy-duty grinding mechanism that processes solid and fibrous waste. The unit is suitable for explosive gas atmospheres in industrial and municipal applications.
Performance specifications include a maximum head of 33.6 metres and a maximum flow of 288 L/Min, powered by a 415V three-phase motor drawing 6.4 Amps. The 3.0 kW motor uses direct starting with 38.7 Amps starting current and produces 10.0 Nm of rated torque. These characteristics suit medium-flow applications requiring significant head capability with grinding performance.
Hydraulic design incorporates an open channel impeller with grinder system, with the impeller manufactured from Cast Iron EN-GJL 250. The grinder mechanism uses chromium steel cutter and cutting disk (X102 CrMo17 KU) that process all incoming solids. Free passage is 0 mm as all solids are reduced by the grinding system. Hydraulic efficiency is rated at 43.9%.
Construction consists of a Cast Iron EN-GJL 250 casing with bi-epoxy 200 ?m sea water resistant coating. The shaft is stainless steel AISI 431, and sealing uses two mechanical seals in silicon carbide (2SiC). Motor protection includes Class H insulation, IP68 rating, thermal protection, and a leakage sensor. Cable length is 10 metres with 4G1,5+3x1 configuration, and the unit weighs 45 kg. A ZENS9024.006 Ring Stand is required for free-standing operation.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.

- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
