The Apex Xtraflo Bottom Entry Armless Automatic Trough Valve is a high-capacity mechanical valve designed to maintain water levels in large livestock troughs and storage tanks with very high demand. Featuring a compact armless diaphragm design, the valve delivers unrestricted full-flow operation for rapid filling while reducing pump strain and energy consumption.

Installed through the side or base of the trough, the bottom-entry configuration fills from below the waterline, minimising disturbance and reducing the risk of contamination. The valve operates on a full on, full off principle with a controlled water level differential between opening and closing, allowing pumps to run efficiently until the trough is full while reducing frequent cycling and motor overload.
