For large residential pools, chlorination capacity is only one part of the ownership experience. The AstralPool Halo Chlor 45g combines high-output sanitiser production with a connected control environment that allows pool equipment to be monitored, adjusted and expanded through a single automation-ready platform.

The controller uses a large touchscreen display with clear menu navigation for setup and daily operation. Through the Halo App, those same functions remain accessible from compatible mobile devices, allowing settings and system information to be reviewed without being physically present at the equipment installation. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi communication work together to provide both local and remote connectivity options.

Integration capability is a key feature of the Halo ecosystem. Halo Connect compatibility allows the chlorinator to communicate with additional Halo devices, while optional Chem Control functionality can introduce automated water management features when the necessary sensors are installed. Compatibility with Viron Connect further supports advanced automation strategies across larger pool installations.

Generating up to 45 grams of chlorine per hour, the Halo Chlor 45g is suitable for pools up to 170,000 litres in cool climates and 105,000 litres in warm climates. The chlorinator operates within a salt concentration range of 3,000–8,000 ppm and is optimised around a recommended level of 4,000 ppm. Included with the unit are the power pack, reverse polarity cell, mounting bracket and owner's manual.
