Expanding pool automation capability becomes increasingly important as additional equipment such as pumps, water features, heating systems and valve actuators are added to the installation. The AstralPool Halo Hub is designed to extend the functionality of a Halo Chlor system, transforming it into a more comprehensive pool automation platform. Connected via Bluetooth mesh communication, the Hub provides additional equipment control and monitoring options while maintaining operation through the Halo ecosystem. A Halo Chlor controller is required for operation.
Additional control capacity is provided through two integrated 240VAC power outlets, allowing extra pumps, blowers and auxiliary equipment to be incorporated into the automation system. The combined output capacity is rated at 9.5A, providing flexibility for managing multiple pieces of pool equipment from a single control platform. This expanded switching capability allows users to automate a wider range of pool and spa functions without replacing existing Halo equipment.
Beyond equipment control, the Halo Hub adds expanded monitoring and system management capability through dedicated sensor and control connections. The module supports water temperature and air temperature sensing, allowing integration with heat pump and solar heating applications. Additional connections are provided for valve actuators, enabling automated water flow control within compatible pool and spa systems. These functions allow the Halo Chlor platform to manage a broader range of operational requirements through a single connected environment.
Installation is simplified through a 10A 240VAC Plug n Play design that connects directly into the Halo system architecture. Once connected, the Hub operates as an automation expansion module that increases the overall control capability available to the pool owner. The package includes the Halo Hub device and owner's manual, providing the components required for integration into a compatible Halo Chlor installation.
