Not every pool owner wants the high salt levels traditionally associated with salt chlorination. The AstralPool Halo Pure 15g is built around a low-salinity approach, combining chlorine generation with the Mineral Guard system to create a more balanced sanitisation process. By introducing silver and copper mineral ions alongside chlorination, the system is designed to maintain clear, healthy water while helping reduce overall chemical demand.

Operating at a recommended salinity of just 1,500 ppm at 25°C, the Halo Pure platform delivers many of the comfort benefits associated with mineral pools. Lower salt concentrations can help reduce chlorine odour, minimise irritation that contributes to red eyes and dry skin, and leave swimmers with a softer water feel without noticeable salty residue. The lower salt requirement can also contribute to reduced salt usage and ongoing operating costs over time.

Everyday interaction takes place through a large colour touchscreen that provides direct access to settings, schedules and operating information. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity allow the chlorinator to communicate with the Halo ChlorGo App, making it possible to monitor and manage the system from a compatible mobile device. Because it is built on the Halo ecosystem, the controller can also integrate with Halo Connect automation and expansion modules, while Viron Connect compatibility provides additional flexibility for connected pool equipment installations.

Producing up to 15 g/h of chlorine, the Halo Pure 15g is recommended for pools up to 45,000 litres in cooler climates and 30,000 litres in warmer regions. Mineral Guard is included as standard, and the package also contains the power pack, reverse polarity cell, mounting bracket and owner's manual for installation and operation.
