The AstralPool Halo Xpand Automation Expansion Module provides a simple way to increase the control capability of compatible Halo systems, allowing additional equipment to be incorporated without replacing existing automation hardware.
Designed as a plug-in expansion device, the Halo Xpand connects to Halo Chlor through Bluetooth mesh communication, creating an extended automation network for connected equipment. Operation is dependent on a Halo Chlor controller, allowing the expansion module to function as part of a broader pool automation platform rather than as a standalone controller.
Additional equipment capacity is provided through two integrated 240VAC outlets, enabling connection of pumps, blowers and auxiliary devices requiring automated control. This additional switching capacity allows larger equipment configurations to be managed through the Halo ecosystem while maintaining a consistent control interface.
The module also incorporates multiple temperature sensor inputs suitable for heat pump and solar heating applications, expanding system monitoring and automation possibilities. Installation is simplified through the 10A Plug n Play configuration, while the package includes the Xpand module and owner's manual for setup and operation.
