Producing up to 18 g/h of chlorine, the unit is suited to pools up to 50,000 litres in temperate climates and 40,000 litres in tropical climates. The reverse polarity chlorinator cell automatically changes polarity during operation to help minimise calcium scale accumulation, reducing cleaning requirements and supporting long-term performance. A high efficiency switch mode power supply assists dependable operation while helping optimise energy usage.

Daily interaction is handled through a large LCD interface that provides access to operating settings, chlorination adjustments and timer programming. Bluetooth® connectivity through the ChlorinatorGO app allows wireless monitoring and control from a compatible smart device, providing a convenient alternative to equipment pad adjustments. Compatibility with Viron Connect also allows the chlorinator to integrate with supported pool control systems when additional functionality is required.

The Viron V18 operates across salt levels ranging from 3,000 to 8,000 ppm at 25°C, with 4,000 ppm recommended for normal operation. Four programmable timers together with two dedicated light timers provide flexibility when coordinating filtration and lighting schedules, while the unit supports filter pump loads up to 8 amps.
