Calpeda GEO 230-GXVM 25-6 Polyethylene 230L Wastewater Station for Civil Drainage with Float Switch

Domestic and civil wastewater can be collected and transferred efficiently with this automatic 230-litre lifting station, making it ideal where gravity drainage is unavailable. Designed for residential installations throughout Australia, the station combines a corrosion-resistant polyethylene tank with a GXVM submersible drainage pump to handle clean or slightly dirty water containing suspended solids up to 25 mm. The complete assembly operates with liquid temperatures up to 35°C during continuous duty.

The integrated GXVM pump is equipped with a free-flow vortex impeller that allows suspended solids to pass with minimal risk of blockage. A vertical discharge arrangement simplifies pipework within the tank while the integrated suction filter protects the hydraulic components from oversized debris. Pumped liquid continuously circulates around the motor jacket, maintaining stable operating temperatures throughout extended pumping cycles.

Operating from a single-phase 240v supply, the 0.25 kW motor delivers flows up to 170 L/min with a maximum head of 5.7 m while drawing 2.5 Amps. Automatic pump control is provided by the integrated float switch, and the supplied 10 m power cable offers flexibility when positioning the station. A discharge pipe kit arranged for Ø40 mm BSP thread PVC pipework is included for installation.

Long-term durability is achieved through a medium-density polyethylene collection tank and a GXVM pump manufactured with an AISI 304 stainless steel pump casing and motor jacket. Protection against water ingress is provided by a double mechanical shaft seal with an intermediate oil chamber, while the induction motor incorporates a built-in capacitor, thermal protector and triple impregnation humidity-proof winding for dependable submerged service.
