Davey 1PP20 Poly Pleated Sediment Removal 1 Micron 20" Replacement Cartridge

The 1PP20 Microlene Poly Pleated Sediment Removal Cartridge brings 1-micron filtration to the standard 20-inch cartridge format. It is listed for drinking water, beverage industry, mineral water bottling, laboratory and food industry applications, and for prefiltration ahead of sub-micron filters or Reverse Osmosis where low contamination levels are required.

Pleated polyester media provides the increased surface area needed for fine sediment capture, while the 20-inch format supports higher-capacity filtration. The specified flow rate is 82 lpm, with the cartridge design providing high dirt-holding ability, longer run length and low pressure drop for low-pressure applications.

As with the other 1-micron cartridges in the range, cleaning is limited to once or twice according to the supplied information. The cartridge can be cleaned under a tap or by gentle hosing, with replacement recommended when cleaning is no longer effective or head loss reaches 15 psi. Bleach sterilisation is specified before reuse.

Integral joints are formed by thermally bonding the pliable endcaps to the rigid centre core, providing added strength and long service life. The cartridge is rated for liquids up to 52°C and has white construction with blue endcaps.
