Davey 20PP10 Poly Pleated Sediment Removal 20 Micron 10" Replacement Cartridge

For finer sediment control in a standard 10-inch housing, the 20PP10 Microlene Poly Pleated Sediment Removal Cartridge uses 20-micron polyester pleated media. It is intended for drinking water, beverage industry, mineral water bottling, laboratory and food industry applications, as well as prefiltration before sub-micron filters or Reverse Osmosis.

The pleated format increases the available filtration area while retaining the cartridge's compact standard 10-inch size. A rated flow of 45 lpm provides the specified hydraulic capacity, with the cartridge particularly useful for low-pressure applications including domestic supplies using header tanks or roof water.

When the cartridge becomes dirty, it can be cleaned under a tap or with gentle hosing. Diluted acid or other suitable cleaners may be used where deposits require additional cleaning. The source specifies that cartridges should be sterilised with bleach before reuse and replaced when cleaning is no longer effective or head loss reaches 15 psi.

Thermal bonding creates integral joints between the pliable endcaps and rigid centre core, providing added strength and long service life. The cartridge is rated for liquids up to 52°C and uses the standard white cartridge with blue endcaps configuration.
