Davey 20PP20 Poly Pleated Sediment Removal 20 Micron 20" Replacement Cartridge

The 20PP20 Microlene Poly Pleated Sediment Removal Cartridge is a 20-micron option for higher-capacity sediment filtration in standard 20-inch filter housings. It is listed for drinking water, beverage industry, mineral water bottling, laboratory and food industry applications, along with prefiltration ahead of sub-micron filters or Reverse Osmosis.

Pleated polyester media provides a larger filtration surface within the extended cartridge format, supporting high dirt-holding ability and longer run length. The specified flow rate is 90 lpm, while the pleated construction also provides the low pressure drop associated with these cartridges.

Maintenance can be carried out by cleaning the cartridge under a tap or with gentle hosing. Where deposits are more difficult to remove, diluted acid or other appropriate cleaners can be used before rinsing. Bleach sterilisation is specified before reuse, with replacement recommended when cleaning is no longer effective or head loss reaches 15 psi.

The cartridge is thermally bonded at the joints between its pliable endcaps and rigid centre core, providing added strength and long service life. It is rated for liquids up to 52°C and has white construction with blue endcaps.
