    Pairs well with

For higher-capacity filtration, the 50PP20 Microlene Poly Pleated Sediment Removal Cartridge combines 50-micron polyester pleated media with a standard 20-inch cartridge format. It is listed for drinking water, beverage industry, mineral water bottling, laboratory and food industry applications, including prefiltration ahead of sub-micron filters or Reverse Osmosis.

The extended cartridge length provides increased filtration area for sediment loading, while the pleated construction supports high dirt-holding ability and longer run length. Flow is rated at 95 lpm, and the cartridge is particularly useful in low-pressure applications such as domestic supplies using header tanks or roof water.

Once dirty, the cartridge can be cleaned under a tap or by gentle hosing. Diluted acid or other appropriate cleaners can be used for heavier deposits before rinsing. The supplied guidance specifies bleach sterilisation before reuse and replacement when cleaning is no longer effective or head loss reaches 15 psi.

Thermally bonded joints connect the pliable endcaps and rigid centre core, providing an integral construction for added strength and long service life. The cartridge is rated for a maximum liquid temperature of 52°C and has white construction with blue endcaps.
