The kit is compatible with systems operating at water temperatures between 2 and 40 degrees Celsius. The ultraviolet lamp has a rated service life of 9,000 hours.

Filtration is managed through a two-stage process using the included jumbo cartridges. The kit features one 20 micron pleated filter (20PP10J) for initial sediment removal and one 1 micron polyspun filter (1PS10J) for finer particulate and cyst control. These filters are sized for 10 inch jumbo housings with 25 mm connections. The system is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 860 kPa. The use of these specific cartridges ensures that the water remains clear for optimal ultraviolet light transmission.

Maintenance is performed through the tool-free design of the compatible UV systems, allowing for quick lamp and sleeve replacement with a quarter-turn.
