Davey 5PP10J Poly Pleated Sediment Removal 5 Micron 10" Jumbo Replacement Cartridge

For fine sediment filtration in a higher-capacity format, the 5PP10J Microlene Poly Pleated Sediment Removal Cartridge uses 5-micron polyester pleated media in a 10-inch Jumbo configuration. It is listed for drinking water, beverage industry, mineral water bottling, laboratory and food industry applications, including prefiltration ahead of sub-micron filters or Reverse Osmosis.

The 4.5-inch diameter Jumbo construction provides a large filtration surface for fine sediment capture, while the pleated media supports high dirt-holding ability and longer run length. Flow is rated at 90 lpm, with the cartridge providing low pressure drop for higher-flow filtration applications.

Cleaning is generally limited to one or two cycles for this 5-micron cartridge. When flow becomes too low or head loss reaches 15 psi, the cartridge can be cleaned under a tap or with gentle hosing and then sterilised with bleach before reuse. Replacement is required when cleaning is no longer effective.

Thermally bonded joints connect the pliable endcaps to the rigid centre core, creating an integral construction for added strength and long service life. The cartridge is rated for liquids up to 52°C and is supplied with white construction and blue endcaps.
