Featuring an integrated powder-coated cover, the KAQS-XS is a fully covered model in the Davey AquaShield 3-Stage UV System series. This model is designed for the treatment, filtration, and disinfection of domestic rainwater and bore water supplies. It is suitable for outdoor wall-mount setups with an integrated cover.
Constructed with a polished 316L stainless steel horizontal UV chamber, the unit is encased in a powder-coated cover. The dual filter housings are manufactured from glass-filled polypropylene and contain 20 micron poly pleated and 1 micron polyspun cartridges. The system operates with water temperatures ranging from 0°C up to 40°C.
Operating on a 240 V supply with a total power consumption of 57 W, the system uses a high-output 45 W lamp. This configuration achieves a treating flow rate of 56.8 L/Min at 30 mJ/cm² UV dosage, and up to 114 L/Min at 16 mJ/cm² dosage. Plumbing connections are 1 inch Male and Female NPT ports.
This model incorporates an Xtra smart controller with a digital LCD display and a lamp key system. The cover has a matt satin black finish and matches the mounting holes of the inner UV rack. The system operates under a maximum working pressure of 827 kPa.
