Davey Kinetico E2040SOD 8" Twin-Tank Non-Electric Water Softener with Alternating Countercurrent Flow

Iron and hardness minerals in domestic water supplies are effectively managed by the Davey E2040SOD, a Kinetico twin-tank water softener that reduces calcium, magnesium and iron without requiring electrical power.

Engineered plastic media vessels and a high-density polyethylene cabinet contain non-solvent fine mesh cation exchange resin. The dual-vessel overdrive configuration ensures softened water is always available, with one tank regenerating while the other remains in service.

Pressures from 1.0 to 8.6 bar drive the system, delivering 41.6 to 56.7 L/min using the kinetic energy of moving water. The top-mounted non-corrosive multi-vessel control valve initiates countercurrent regeneration based on metered water usage.

Dimensions of 432 x 203 x 584 mm and 41 kg shipping weight make this suitable for residential installations. The overdrive twin-tank configuration provides continuous softened water while the non-electric control system manages regeneration automatically.
