Davey Kinetico E4060SODAC 8" Combined Carbon and Water Softener Twin-Tank System with Multi-Layer Bed

Hardness reduction combined with chlorine and taste removal comes from the Davey E4060SODAC, a Kinetico combined carbon and water softener for domestic water supplies.

Fibreglass-wrapped engineered plastic vessels and a high-density polyethylene cabinet contain a multi-layer bed of acid-washed carbon above non-solvent cation exchange resin. The overdrive configuration delivers higher flow rates while reducing both hardness and chlorine.

Pressures from 1.75 to 6.8 bar power the system, delivering 42 to 68 L/min without electricity. The non-corrosive multi-vessel control valve uses metered countercurrent regeneration to maintain performance.

Dimensions are 432 x 203 x 1219 mm. Each vessel contains 7 litres of carbon and 19.8 litres of cation resin, with 25mm ABS riser tubes and 0.36mm distributor baskets.
