Point-of-entry water softening without electricity defines the Davey ESSENTIAL11, a Kinetico single-tank system that reduces hardness minerals from municipal and groundwater supplies while fitting neatly into compact spaces.

A fibreglass-wrapped polyethylene media vessel contains high-capacity non-solvent fine mesh cation exchange resin, while the rigid polypropylene brine tank with acrylic lid holds 30.8 kg of pellet salt. The simplex configuration delivers softened water throughout the property.

Powered entirely by the kinetic energy of flowing water, the system operates at pressures from 1.7 to 8.6 bar with a service flow rate of 36 L/min. The volumetric control valve initiates countercurrent regeneration based on actual water usage, automatically adjusting to consumption patterns.

Measuring 296 x 499.9 x 607.3 mm and weighing 22.7 kg when shipped, the softener installs at the main water entry point. The non-corrosive valve requires no electrical connection and manages the regeneration cycle according to water usage.
