The Davey KM2040SOD provides a complete twin-tank water softening solution with bypass valve and pre-filter included. This Kinetico kit delivers calcium, magnesium and iron reduction for domestic water supplies.

Fibreglass-wrapped engineered plastic media vessels and a high-density polyethylene cabinet house non-solvent fine mesh cation exchange resin. The included bypass valve simplifies installation and service access, while the pre-filter provides additional sediment protection.

Powered by water pressure from 1.0 to 8.6 bar, the system delivers 41.6 to 56.7 L/min without electricity. The non-corrosive multi-vessel control valve uses countercurrent regeneration initiated by metered water usage.

With dimensions of 432 x 203 x 584 mm and 41 kg shipping weight, this kit suits residential point-of-entry installations. The alternating twin-tank configuration provides continuous softened water while the non-electric control system manages regeneration automatically.
