Davey KUV151A Steriflo Dual Jumbo Filter UV Water Filtration System

Continuous microbiological protection for very large homes or commercial applications is provided by the KUV151A Davey Steriflo 151 lpm UV Disinfection and Filtration Kit. This high-capacity system utilizes a physical treatment process to neutralize a broad spectrum of waterborne microorganisms without the use of chlorine. It is used for high-flow rainwater harvesting systems, rural borehole supplies, and large-scale residential water loops. The kit includes dual jumbo pre-filtration housings to ensure that particles do not shield micro-organisms from the ultraviolet light, maintaining water safety at elevated flow rates.

The system features a 316 Stainless Steel UV reactor and two 20 inch jumbo filter housings (AS20J x 2). The pre-filtration stage includes two 20 micron pleated filters and two 1 micron polyspun filters. The UV chamber has a diameter of 89 mm and a length of 1034 mm. The unit is designed to operate in water temperatures ranging from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The system allows for installation in either vertical or horizontal orientations. The total shipping weight for the kit components is approximately 25 kg.

This system operates on a 90-265V 50/60Hz power supply and has a total power consumption of 108W. The internal ultraviolet lamp is rated at 101W. It operates with a maximum current of 1 Amps. High-intensity low-pressure high-output lamp technology is used to generate the 254nm ultraviolet light. The controller dimensions are 217 x 108 x 102 mm. Maintenance is performed through a tool-free design that allows for lamp changes with a quarter-turn.
