Point-of-entry water treatment for small residential applications is provided by the KUV24A Davey Steriflo 23 lpm UV Disinfection and Filtration Kit. This system utilizes a physical process to neutralize bacteria and viruses without the use of chemicals, ensuring the natural taste and odor of the water are preserved. The kit includes a specialized twin filter housing to remove sediment and ensure particles do not shield micro-organisms from the ultraviolet light. It is designed to provide a continuous microbiological barrier for the occupants of the home. The system is suitable for treating water from rainwater, bore, or mains sources.

The system features a 304 Stainless Steel UV reactor and a twin 10 inch standard filter housing (AS10A). The pre-filtration stage includes one 20 micron pleated filter and one 1 micron polyspun filter. The UV chamber has a diameter of 64 mm and a length of 542 mm. The unit is designed to operate in water temperatures ranging from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The system allows for installation in either vertical or horizontal orientations. The total shipping weight for the kit components is approximately 7 kg.

This system operates on a 90-265V 50/60Hz power supply and has a total power consumption of 30W. The internal ultraviolet lamp is rated at 22W. It operates with a maximum current of 1 Amps.
