Davey KUV57A Steriflo Jumbo Filter UV Water Filtration System

Water safety for medium-sized residential dwellings is maintained by the KUV57A Davey Steriflo 57 lpm UV Disinfection and Filtration Kit. This system provides a physical treatment process for water sourced from mains, rainwater, or bore sources, neutralizing bacteria and viruses without chemicals. The kit includes a jumbo pre-filtration stage to ensure that particles do not shield micro-organisms from the 254nm ultraviolet light. It is suitable for point-of-entry installation, providing a continuous barrier for the household while preserving the natural taste and odor of the water supply.

The system features a 304 Stainless Steel UV reactor and one 10 inch jumbo filter housing (AS10J). The pre-filtration stage includes one 20 micron pleated filter and one 1 micron polyspun filter. The UV chamber has a diameter of 64 mm and a length of 1016 mm. The unit is designed to operate in water temperatures ranging from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The system allows for installation in either vertical or horizontal orientations. The total shipping weight for the kit components is approximately 12 kg.

This system operates on a 90-265V 50/60Hz power supply and has a total power consumption of 62W. The internal ultraviolet lamp is rated at 50W. It operates with a maximum current of 1 Amps. It achieves a flow rate of 57 L/Min at a 30mJ/cm2 dosage and 110 L/Min at a 16mJ/cm2 dosage. Filter connections are 25 mm and the UV chamber connection is also 25 mm.
