High-flow water disinfection for large residential properties is the primary role of the KUV80A Davey Steriflo 79 lpm UV Disinfection and Filtration Kit. This system provides a physical treatment process that works without chemicals to neutralize bacteria and viruses. It is used for treating harvested rainwater, groundwater, or municipal water in high-demand environments. The kit includes a large jumbo pre-filtration stage to ensure that particles do not shield micro-organisms from the ultraviolet light. This process maintains the natural taste and odor of the water supply while providing a continuous barrier for the occupants.

The system features a 304 Stainless Steel UV reactor and one 20 inch jumbo filter housing (AS20J). The pre-filtration stage includes one 20 micron pleated filter and one 1 micron polyspun filter. The UV chamber has a diameter of 89 mm and a length of 917 mm. The unit is designed to operate in water temperatures ranging from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
