Davey Lifeguard DCLGAU Pool Chemistry Controller for Automated Pool Balancing with App Control

Pool equipment automation and chemistry management can be centrally controlled through the Lifeguard DCLGAU controller system, developed for residential installations requiring connected monitoring and simplified day-to-day pool operation. The compact controller combines water chemistry regulation with equipment management and remote access functionality within a single integrated platform.

The unit operates from a single-phase 240V supply and supports standard salt levels from 3000 to 6000 ppm together with low-salt operation between 1500 and 6000 ppm. Built-in operating functions include adjustable chlorine output, programmable timers, alarm management, and dedicated operating modes for spa use, winter operation, chlorine boost, and pool cover conditions.

Water quality management is handled through integrated pH sensing, acid dosing, ORP regulation, and continuous temperature and salt measurement. WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity provide remote operational access through compatible smart-device control, while the high-performance reverse polarity in-line cell assists in reducing calcium buildup during ongoing chlorination cycles.

Designed for outdoor equipment installations, the UV stabilised enclosure incorporates integrated flow-switch protection together with battery backup functionality for operational continuity during power interruptions. The controller also supports variable speed pump management and heat pump temperature control while maintaining a compact installation footprint measuring 240 mm wide, 153 mm high, and 97 mm deep.
