Constructed from 100 percent food grade polypropylene, the housing utilizes thermally bonded fibers to create a rigid internal structure. The manufacturing process involves no chemical binders, gaskets, fillers, or center cores, which results in a clean filter media with no loose fibers. The unit is specified for liquid temperatures up to 63 degrees Celsius and releases no surfactants during operation. Every cartridge consists of thousands of interlocked fibers to inhibit media migration downstream.

Technical performance is specified for a flow rate of 34 L/Min to capture rust, sand, silt, and algae from the supply.
