This model is designed for drinking water systems, beverage industries, and mineral water bottling. It is designed for compatible standard 10 inch housings with approximately 64 mm diameter. The cartridge is specified for facilities where removal of dissolved chemicals is needed for residential and commercial water treatment infrastructure to manage water quality.

Constructed totally from food grade materials, the housing contains GAC media designed for maximum contact time with the water stream. The internal architecture includes a permanent 20 micron nominal post filter fastened to the support basket. This design is intended to inhibit the bypass of carbon fines and silt into the filtered water. The unit is specified for the reduction of trihalomethanes, organic chemicals, and offensive tastes or odours through absorption. It features an innovative design without center cores for the carbon bed.

Technical performance metrics include an optimal flow rate of 3.8 L/Min for reduction and a total capacity of 18,900 litres. The internal mechanical rating is specified at 20 microns nominal via the post filter assembly for sediment capture. This is a passive purification device that operates without electrical supply or motor configurations.
