The extended length provides maximum surface area for the reduction of dissolved chemicals and suspended solids in high-demand facilities.

The cartridge uses high-capacity Bonded Powdered Activated Carbon media with a 5 micron rating. The high porosity of the block architecture enables higher flow rates while helping to prevent the premature plugging of pores with sediment. This design results in a longer service life compared to smaller models while maintaining strict standards for structural purity. The construction is designed to provide controlled filtration without unwanted material release when operated within the specified industrial or commercial conditions.

Fluid management performance is specified for an optimal flow rate of 19 L/Min for chemical reduction and a maximum flow rate of 42 L/Min. The internal mechanical path achieves a 5 micron nominal rating for the capture of fine suspended solids from the water supply line. This is a passive mechanical and chemical filter that functions without an electrical supply, motor, or drive configuration. It is rated for liquid temperatures reaching 82.2 degrees Celsius and is suitable for both cold and hot water service in processing lines.

The cartridge has a total capacity of 90,800 litres for chemical and sediment reduction. The unit should be run for at least 5 minutes upon initial installation to clear carbon fines and flushed for 20 seconds before use. For high sediment environments, a prefilter is recommended to manage the useful life of the carbon active sites. The cartridge fits compatible 20 inch Jumbo housings and is designed for straightforward replacement within existing filter housings without imparting unwanted taste, odour or colour to the liquid.
