Internal fluid velocity paths for high-flow biological safety are managed by the Davey Microlene BPAC10J jumbo polishing filter. This model is designed for high-flow drinking water systems, the food industry, and mineral water bottling. It is designed for compatible 10 inch Jumbo housings with approximately 114 mm diameter. The unit is frequently utilized as a high-capacity polishing filter for facilities where cyst reduction and low chemical contamination are critical requirements for processed water output.

Constructed using the specified carbon block media and jumbo cartridge materials, the media is specified for the adsorption of chlorine, trihalomethanes, and low levels of organic chemicals. The 0.5 micron nominal sediment removal rating is designed for the removal of Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts from drinking water. This model complies with AS/NZ 4348 standards for greater than 99.9 percent cyst removal. The construction includes grey end caps for secure Jumbo housing installation and features white media with no fillers.

Operational performance includes an optimal flow rate of 7.6 L/Min for reduction and a maximum flow rate of 20 L/Min. The internal mechanical path achieves a 1 micron absolute rating for the capture of fine suspended solids like sand, silt, and rust. As a passive purification device, it functions without a motor, drive system, or electrical supply. The unit is rated for both cold and hot water service with a maximum liquid temperature threshold of 82 degrees Celsius. It is intended for high-purity point-of-use or system applications.

Hygienic maintenance is managed through a recommended 6-month service life to maintain water quality standards and purification performance. The unit should be flushed for at least 5 minutes upon initial installation to remove carbon fines from the internal bed. A sediment prefilter is recommended to inhibit premature clogging of the carbon active sites in high-flow environments. The cartridge fits compatible 10 inch Jumbo housings and does not impart taste, odour or colour to the processed water. It has a total capacity of 190,000 litres.
