Davey Microlene EAFC9 9" Automatic Backwash Carbon Media Filter with Electronic Controller

Automatic backwash operation makes the Davey EAFC9 a convenient choice for reducing chlorine, taste, odour, colour, organic chemicals and pesticides from water supplies without manual intervention.

A polyglass structural tank with fibreglass wrapping and weatherproof plastic cover contains acid-washed coconut shell granular activated carbon. The Automatic electronic controller controls automatic backwashing at pre-programmable intervals.

Operating on 240 V via a 12 V transformer, the system handles pressures from 1.4 to 6.9 bar and delivers 20 to 40 L/min. The 25mm inlet and outlet ports connect to residential plumbing.

The 9 inch by 35 inch tank contains 7kg of carbon media and 5kg of gravel foundation. Backwashing at 16 L/min cleanses the media, and the weatherproof 3-pin plug assembly suits outdoor installation.
