Davey Microlene ETFC9 9" Manual Backwash Carbon Media Filter with Multi-Port Control Valve

Manual backwash control defines the Davey ETFC9, a Microlene carbon media filter that reduces chlorine, taste, odour, colour, organic chemicals and pesticides from water supplies without requiring electricity.

A polyglass structural tank reinforced with fibreglass wrapping contains premium acid-washed coconut shell granular activated carbon. The manual rotary multi-port valve allows the user to initiate backwash and rinse cycles as needed.

Pressures from 1.4 to 6.9 bar drive the system, delivering 20 to 40 L/min. The 25mm inlet and outlet ports connect directly to residential plumbing, and the 9 inch by 35 inch tank contains 7kg of carbon media.

Installation is at ground level with point-of-entry connection. Backwashing at 16 L/min cleanses the carbon media and removes accumulated sediment. The non-electric design suits residential and lifestyle properties.
