Davey Microlene HF1M-R 1 Micron High Flow Replacement Water Filter Cartridge

Replacement cartridges for high flow systems, such as the Davey Microlene HF1M-R, provide safety protection and containment for under bench units. This unit is for use with the HF1M, MTC-HF1M, and MTCM-HF1M filtration systems in home and workplace settings. It is for both rain and mains water supplies, reducing unwanted contaminants that affect the taste and odour of drinking water. The cartridge maintains flow during its cycle.

Constructed with a 5 stage water filtration process, the internal media reduces particles, sediment, rust, and silt. The design incorporates water softening beads for treating hard water and reducing scaling in fixtures. It utilizes granulated media to reduce chlorine, chloramine, and Trihalomethane while leaving minerals in the supply. This 1 micron nominal cartridge provides a tested 99.95 percent reduction of 3 micron cyst-sized particles.

The cartridge operates at a maximum flow rate of 9.5 L/min and is specified for a capacity of 65,000 litres. It interfaces with the mounting head through a twist connection that allows for manual tool-less installation and removal. The operating pressure range is 200 to 680 kPa, and it is rated for temperatures from 0 to 38 degrees Celsius. Laboratory testing recorded a minimum 94.73 percent and average 95.02 percent reduction of chlorine.

Operational safety is provided by certification to AS/NZS 4020:2018 and the WaterMark scheme. Important: Davey Microlene purifiers are intended for biologically safe water sources. Additional treatment is required where bacteria or viruses are present. Regular replacement every 6 months is recommended, or earlier if a reduction in flow is detected. This unit ensures all cold water from the tap remains free of chemical residuals.
