This unit is suitable for livestock, poultry, and metal finishing applications where high flow rates are a requirement. It is for installation in commercial cartridge tanks as a pre-filter or polishing stage to reduce sediment. The design offers an alternative to stainless steel housing systems.

Constructed from 100 percent polypropylene media, the cartridge features a 20 micron meltblown depth filtration layer. The structural assembly is chemical resistant, providing lower shear water velocity to allow for contact time with the surface area. The filter and cap are manufactured from polypropylene to provide integrity during high flow loading. All components are manufactured from materials that resist microbial growth.

The unit operates at a nominal 20 micron rating and is capable of flow rates up to 380 L/min with a low pressure drop. As a passive filtration component, it relies on system pressure to force water through the meltblown matrix for particle removal. The bottom connection features double EPDM O-ring seals to provide a seal to prevent untreated water bypass. This solution handles contaminant loads without media migration.

Long-term operating cost scaling is managed by the high capacity design which prioritizes reliable sediment reduction. Maintenance procedures are simplified by the filter handle design which allows for manual removal and tool-less replacement. The package includes a bag for the disposal of the spent cartridge to facilitate site hygiene. This unit offers a high capacity solution for large residences and industrial sites.
