This cartridge is for residential or commercial sites requiring reduction of chlorine taste and odour. It is for installation in standard residential or light commercial cartridge tanks as a pre-filter stage. This model operates on potable drinking water supplies to provide chemical reduction using surface modified technology.

Manufactured from materials specified as FDA approved, the internal media features coconut shell carbon with high porosity. The 20 micron carbon block incorporates a binder system and uses a proprietary manufacturing process. The structural assembly includes a polyethylene outer wrap and netting to provide integrity to the media bed. It features a handle designed top cap and a double O-ring bottom connection for 2.5 inch plumbing adapters.

This cartridge is rated for up to 567,812 litres at a service flow rate of 26.50 L/min, with 90 percent reduction of free chlorine under stated test conditions. As a passive filtration component, it utilizes system pressure for fluid passage through the media. The double O-ring connection is a seal to prevent untreated water bypass. Performance data is verified by independent lab results and manufacturer test data.

Operational safety is provided by California Prop 65 compliance and the use of NSF 61 certified carbon. It is for use on biologically safe water sources and requires no electrical power for its chemical reduction process.
