Internal fluid velocity paths are managed by the dual gradient pleated media in the Davey Microlene MMXR-NAG Green Filter Series. This cartridge provides a nominal filtration rating down to 0.2 micron for microbiological control in potable water. It relies on system pressure to force water through the double pleated gradient, achieving flow rates with a low pressure drop. The architecture incorporates an external 20 micron pre-filter layer.

Constructed from a thermally bonded blend of micro-glass fibers and cellulose, the media is infused with nanoalumina fibers. It incorporates Agion antimicrobial technology that works 24/7 to resist the growth of microbes within the cartridge assembly. Filter belly bands are included to provide structural support and prevent the collapse of media under loading. This model is suitable for primary filtration and process water treatment.

This solution provides particulate reduction for silt, rust, and other insoluble contaminants while supporting flow delivery to downstream infrastructure. The unit features double Buna-N O-ring seals at the bottom connection to provide a seal to prevent untreated water bypass. It is specified for high chemical compatibility and is suitable for operation in various water-based fluid solutions. It is designed for installation in cartridge tanks to manage viruses.

Operational safety is provided by the Agion biostat technology for protection against microbial growth. A unique handle designed top cap is included for manual removal from the tank without specialized tools. Each unit is supplied with a disposal bag to facilitate hygienic cartridge replacement procedures. The media outperforms standard microporous membranes by achieving flow rates during service.
