Davey Steriflo ACX2 Ultraviolet Water Disinfection System with Thermopile Temperature Sensor

For water systems facing microbiological contamination, the Davey Microlene Steriflo ACX2 ultraviolet disinfection system is specified for farm washdown, large scale irrigation, and playing field watering. It is suitable for greywater treatment and non-validated potable water supply. This system features plug-and-play technology for simplified installation.

The disinfection chamber is manufactured from electropolished 316 stainless steel. It incorporates two high purity quartz sleeves housing two GIA840NW ultraviolet lamps, sealed with four food grade silicon O-rings. The treatment chamber has a weight of 50 kg, and the accompanying ABS plastic control panel weighs 9 kg, operating in liquid temperatures up to 60°C.

The system consumes 415 Watts and operates on a 230–240V / 50Hz supply with a circuit breaker rating of 6 Amps. The ultraviolet treatment chamber achieves a design flow of 25 cubic meters per hour, which equals 416 L/Min, at 40 mJ/cm² dosage. Inlet and outlet connections feature 80mm Table E flanges.

The IP54 rated control panel includes a thermopile temperature sensor for monitoring water temperature. This unit incorporates an alpha numeric LCD display for active status monitoring and a resettable hours counter. Individual lamp fault detection is standard, alongside a low UV alarm and standard volt-free remote alarm contacts rated at 5A.
