Davey Steriflo ALX2/6 Ultraviolet Water Disinfection System with Dual Indium Amalgam Lamps

The Davey Microlene Steriflo ALX2/6 ultraviolet water disinfection system is designed for large scale irrigation, farm washdown, and playing field watering. It is suitable for non-validated potable water supply and final stage greywater treatment. The unit utilizes indium amalgam lamps to operate in fluid temperatures up to 60°C, making it suitable for commercial settings.

Constructed from electropolished 316 stainless steel, the treatment chamber surrounds internal components. The design includes two high purity quartz sleeves and two GIA1554NW high output lamps sealed by four food grade silicon O-rings. The chamber weighs 70 kg, while the polyester powder coated mild steel control panel weighs 50 kg.

The 415 Watt system operates on a 230–240V / 50Hz supply with a 6 Amp circuit breaker. It achieves a design flow rate of 35 cubic meters per hour, which translates to 583 L/Min, under a 40 mJ/cm² dosage for distilled water. Plumbing connections are achieved through 80mm Table E flanges on the inlet and outlet ports.

Control options include two pump start functions to restrict discharge until lamps reach full power. It features fan forced ventilation rated at 23 cubic meters per hour and has an IP54 protection rating. Visual and audible alarm systems provide alerts for cleaning requirements, lamp life depletion, and system faults.
