Davey Steriflo ALX4/8 Ultraviolet Water Disinfection System with Modbus RS485 Connections

The Davey Microlene Steriflo ALX4/8 ultraviolet disinfection system is designed for golf course watering, large scale irrigation, and agricultural washdown. It is suitable for final stage greywater treatment and non-validated potable water supply. The system uses high efficiency indium amalgam lamps that operate in fluid temperatures up to 60°C without loss of output.

Constructed from electropolished 316 stainless steel, the treatment chamber features four high purity quartz sleeves and four GIA1554NW high output lamps. These components are sealed with eight food grade silicon O-rings. The control panel is housed in a polyester powder coated mild steel enclosure weighing 50 kg.

With a power consumption of 815 Watts, the system operates on a 230–240V / 50Hz supply with a rated circuit breaker of 6 Amps. It achieves a design flow of 85 cubic meters per hour, equivalent to 1416 L/Min, for distilled water at 40 mJ/cm² dosage. Inlet and outlet ports feature 100mm Table E flanges.

The system control panel is rated at IP54 and incorporates fan forced ventilation of 105 cubic meters per hour. Visual and audible alarm systems provide alerts for cleaning, lamp life, and faults. Two pump start functions are included to restrict discharge until the lamps achieve full operating power.
