Designed for heavy commercial fluid disinfection loads, the Davey Microlene Steriflo ALX6/10 ultraviolet disinfection system is suitable for agricultural washdown, large scale irrigation, and playing field watering. It is also designed for non-validated potable water supply and greywater treatment. The unit functions in water temperatures reaching up to 60°C.
The treatment chamber is manufactured from electropolished 316 stainless steel. It incorporates six high purity quartz sleeves housing six GIA1554NW high output indium amalgam lamps, which are sealed with twelve food grade silicon O-rings. The control panel is housed in a polyester powder coated mild steel enclosure weighing 55 kg.
Operating with a power consumption of 1225 Watts, the system operates on a 230–240V / 50Hz supply with a rated circuit breaker of 10 Amps. The system achieves a design flow of 150 cubic meters per hour, which equals 2500 L/Min, for distilled water at 40 mJ/cm² dosage. Inlet and outlet connections are 125mm Table E flanges.
The control panel enclosure is rated at IP54 and features fan forced ventilation of 105 cubic meters per hour. The unit includes a 2x16 alpha numeric LCD screen for status notifications and resettable hours tracking. Individual lamp failure detection is standard, alongside volt free contacts and a low UV alarm system.
