Davey Steriflo ALX8/10 Ultraviolet Water Disinfection System with Filtered LDR UV Sensor

The Davey Microlene Steriflo ALX8/10 ultraviolet system is designed for large scale irrigation, farm washdown, playing field watering, and golf course watering. It is also suitable for final stage treatment of greywater and non-validated potable water supply. This system utilizes indium amalgam technology to provide inline microbiological disinfection.

The disinfection chamber is constructed from electropolished 316 stainless steel. It utilizes eight high purity quartz sleeves housing eight GIA1554NW high efficiency lamps, sealed with sixteen food grade silicon O-rings. The control panel is housed in a polyester powder coated mild steel enclosure weighing 60 kg.

The 1625 Watt system operates on a 230–240V / 50Hz power supply with a 10 Amp circuit breaker. It achieves a design flow of 200 cubic meters per hour, equivalent to 3333 L/Min, for distilled water under 40 mJ/cm² dosage conditions. Inlet and outlet plumbing connections feature 150mm Table E flanges on the ports.

The control system features an IP54 rated enclosure and fan forced ventilation rated at 105 cubic meters per hour. A 2x16 alpha numeric LCD display is integrated into the panel. It provides visual and audible alarms for faults, lamp life, and cleaning, along with standard volt free remote alarm contacts.
